Morocco

This is the place where Europe, the Arab East and Africa meet, a real melting pot of customs and cultures. Here slaves became viziers and built their palaces, from here Barbary pirates attacked ships, keeping the entire Mediterranean in fear!

Morocco has two coasts, snowy mountains in the Atlas range, and the Sahara desert where Berbers know how to find water. You can find world-famous carpets, spices, and even a valley filled with the most gorgeous Damask roses and an annual Rose Festival to celebrate. There are also epic fortresses, chill traditional riads with gardens, a city with walls painted the bluest blue, super loud oriental markets, and jaw-dropping Moorish architecture that'll impress even the most boujee of travelers.

We arrive in Casablanca.

We have lunch on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, and then go to the Hassan II Mosque - the largest mosque in Morocco. It was designed by French architect Michel Pinso in such a way that part of the building hangs over the ocean.

According to one version, King Hassan II of Morocco ordered: "The Throne of Allah rests on the water, and the mosque will also rise above the water." After the mosque, we will visit the Villa des Arts de Casablanca gallery, made in the Art Deco style. It was built in 1934 as a space for contemporary art and creativity in Morocco. The gallery is the first private museum in Casablanca.

At the end of the day, dinner awaits us. We stay overnight in Casablanca.
