Morocco

Morocco is a fascinating place where you can find a mix of European, Arab, and African customs and cultures. It's like a big melting pot! Did you know that even slaves became viziers and built their own palaces here? And that back in the day Berber pirates would attack ships and terrify people cruising around the Mediterranean?

WHO ARE YOU
TRAVELLING WITH
WHO DID IT
A native Moroccan who speaks excellent Russian: Issam lived in Russia and studied at the medical faculty of a Russian university. Professionally engaged in fishing and surfing. The second education is historical. Since 2006, he has been telling guests about Morocco, working as an official guide at diplomatic missions, and most of all he likes to show places that only locals know about: for example, a complex of 300 caves in the Middle Atlas mountains or the medieval streets of the Berber Taza.

Our Marrakech adventure starts with delicious breakfast, followed by a stroll through the Medina – the true heart of the city, teeming with life, colorful street vendors, and family- owned souvenir shops. This old city has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

One of the highlights of our trip will be visiting the Bahia Palace. It was built by a former slave and showcases the best of Moorish architecture. The halls are richly decorated with marble, cedar, and tiles. And the inner garden is an oasis of cypresses, jasmine, and orange trees.

We'll also visit Djamaa el Fna, which is the busiest and most chaotic square in the world! It was a popular spot for hippies in the 1970s. And for a more serene experience, we'll head to the Majorelle Botanical Garden. It was created by a French artist at the dawn of the last century. And Yves Saint Laurent loved it so much that he bought it! In fact, his ashes were scattered in the rose garden.

To end the day on a relaxing note, we'll head to a local hammam after lunch. we'll soak in a Jacuzzi, sweat it out in a sauna, and get pampered with revitalizing soap care, peeling, scrub, and a light massage. And finally, we'll indulge in a Moroccan wedding-style dinner accompanied by national musical folklore and a 1001-night show, creating memories that will last a lifetime!
