Breakfast.
And free time - you can reflect and relax in the spa and hammam at the hotel, if desired.
Then we drive towards Essaouira. On the way we will stop at the Saffron Garden, or Paradis du Safran, which contains a large garden with olive trees, lemons, oranges, kumquats, pomegranates and medicinal herbs. It offers stunning views of the Atlas Mountains, which can be enjoyed on the local terraces. Here we will also see how saffron is grown.
And then we will have lunch and tasting of real Moroccan wine. The winemaking culture here developed during the Roman Empire, and wine production on an industrial scale began during the French colonization.
Next, we arrive in Essaouira, check into our atmospheric Riad and go for a walk around the city.
